A selection of books, videos and other resources that are closely related to my work. If they are available in Czech, I include the Czech title

The ultimate coach - One of the most influential books I have come across in my life. It's much more than a book, it's a gateway into a whole new way of thinking and functioning in the world. It's not a theory and certainly not boring, instead it's based on the real life of the most interesting and influential people in the world from those you've probably never heard of in your life.

Chop wood, carry watter -A simple, concise and fun book about becoming a master at what I do and falling in love with the process of becoming a master. Because it's not what we achieve in the outside world that matters, it's who we become in the process.

The way of mastery - this is a book I literally live with. If I had to pick one book to take to a desert island, it would definitely be this one. It sums up completely the entire spiritual journey of man back to his essence. This is the essence of Yeshua's teachings as lived and taught by him (i.e. it's not really about Christianity)

Nervous system regulation

Ideally, this should be an absolutely fundamental skill—especially in today’s world, which is full of excitement and stimulation. Being able to regulate one’s own nervous system is no longer a luxury or something needed only during times of unusual agitation. The entire modern world is structured as one big source of agitation. Digital technology robs us of our natural breaks, during which our system would have had space to recover. Today, we fill every moment with music, games, and social media, so it’s no wonder that the number of people reporting difficulty concentrating, irritability, insomnia, learning difficulties, depression, and other problems is on the rise. The only long-term, healthy response to this challenge is to learn how to work with your nervous system, which is why I’m including the following text here. It’s very practical and intended for personal use in everyday life.

Contemplation

A simple foundation of daily practice, contemplation is essentially being present. It isn’t necessarily meditation; meditation requires a certain amount of effort and space. Contemplation can also be something as simple as making tea or going for a walk. The only thing that matters about contemplation is that it is a consciously created pause in an otherwise busy day filled with activities and thoughts. I’m including two online resources here. One is an excerpt from Richard Rudd’s work *The Art of Contemplation*, and the other is a method for taking contemplation where it needs to go in order for it to become a truly transformative practice—into the emotions and the body. Below are links to the article and the method. These materials serve as a supplement to our group work and provide deeper meaning in the context of our current practice. Nevertheless, I hope they may also be of use to someone here on my website.

Shadow work

Working with the shadow is a very interesting and profound process that can be approached from many different angles. What’s important for my work is that, in many ways, working with the shadow is a creative process—or rather, it involves removing the blocks to our creative power. The shadow itself is neither good nor bad; it is simply something we don’t normally see, yet it influences us, often in very significant ways. Beginning to work with the shadow means looking into the hidden parts of our personality. What’s interesting is that, in addition to the shadow—which represents the repressed and potentially repressed aspects of our personality—we can also work with what’s known as the “Golden Shadow,” which represents our as-yet-unmanifested potential.
